       Los Niños De La Casa Belen is a ministry serving the families of Bahoruco, Dominican Republic. This is a very impoverished community that has struggled greatly with childhood starvation. After the community faced child death by starvation, God laid it on the heart of a pastor from the nearby city of Barahona, Pastor Pive and his wife Xiomara, to move his family there, plant a church in the middle of the community, and begin a feeding program for the children in the community.

God gave the promise to Pastor Pive that never again would another child die from starvation in that community, and has been faithful to his word! The feeding program feeds the roughly 200 children in Bahoruco a lunch 3 times a week. The children’s only requirement is to bring a spoon. In addition to aiding in the food shortage there, his team ministers the Word to the families of the community of Bahoruco in weekly family, children’s, and youth group services.
